Port Mourant Primary pupils tour Office of the President

Georgetown, GINA, February 28, 2006

Students of the Port Mourant Primary school, Region Six, (East Berbice/Corentyne) were today led on a tour of the Office of the President complex.

The students accompanied by their teachers were also given a chance to meet the Cabinet, led by President Bharrat Jagdeo, which was in session at the time of their visit.

Reflecting on the exercise, many of the students said that this was their first visit to the Office of the President and described the outing as “very exciting, since we get to meet the Cabinet and see the Office of the President.”
